An Update:
 
They performed a sigmoidoscopy today and found more trouble. 11 polups. He  
has to have a full colonoscopy on 9-19; fortunately they will put him out for  
that. It was a bit of a shock for both of us. Hopefully these tests will  show 
no cancer. He didn't treat him today; he will do that on the 19th. 
 
I will update you as soon as I know anything else. The doctor told us not  to 
worry; he just wants a closer look. His last exam was four years ago and it  
was fine.
