Attached is the recruitment announcement for a new VISTA Leader
position.  This Leader will be located at the Washington Service Corps
in Lacey, WA and support our new Disability Navigator Program

The Washington Service Corps (WSC) is offering a leadership opportunity
for an AmeriCorps member interested in developing their
service-leadership skills.  During the 2007-2008 program year, the WSC
Disability Navigator Project (DPN) VISTA Leader will assist in the
development and implement Washington's initiative to address structural,
programmatic, and systemic employment barriers for people with
disabilities within the WorkSource system. This VISTA position will
focus on supporting and enhancing program efforts for twelve
AmeriCorps*VISTAs serving as members of Disability Program Navigator
Teams in WorkSource Centers.   The WSC VISTA Leader will also assist
with the development and implementation of the WSC WorkSource Youth
project to enhance employment and training services to youth within
Washington's WorkSource system.   Will provide technical assistance with
regard to marketing and outreach to WSC teams located statewide,
identifying best practice models that can be shared with local project
supervisors. The WSC operates a statewide, multi-site AmeriCorps program
with over 700 members.  The Disability Navigator and the WorkSource
Youth program collectively engage approximately 22 members across the
State of Washington.  Please refer to the attached position announcement
