Hey, all,
I'm a little late posting this, but here is the announcement
the Richmond Braves put up on their web site. Fred did a great job
throwing out the first pitch; the catcher ended up catching it.

BRAVES WELCOME NATIONAL FEDERATION OF THE BLIND SATURDAY
Richmond, VA - The Richmond Braves will welcome a group from the
National Federation of the Blind of Virginia when the Braves host the
Columbus Clippers Saturday at The Diamond at 7 PM. The group will
include Federation member Sandy Halverson, who will sing the National
Anthem, and National Federation of the Blind of Virginia President Dr.
Fredric K. Schroeder, who will throw out the first pitch.
The group sold an estimated 100 tickets as a fundraiser to help support
programs including Parents of Blind Children, youth scholarships, and
assisting seniors coping with recent vision loss.
For more information please call the Braves at (804)-359-4444 or visit
www.rbraves.com <http://www.rbraves.com/> .
