Carl, I am younger than you and probably more excited about 
technology, but I have not embraced the world of newfangled cell 
phones.  However, the world is changing.  I would like to be able to 
see whose call I missed, and to know who is calling before I 
answer.  this is at least in part because people all do it this 
way.  People often don't leave voice mail because you can tell just 
by looking, unless you're like us, who called and you call them 
back.  So we do need access to mobile phones, just for the sake of the phone.
