[nfbwatlk] Fw: a request for prayer from Marlee

Marlee Naddy has been one of this state's excellent examples that being
a senior blind does not mean being illiterate or immobile. She has been
a wonderful cheerleader for learning Braille and independently
traveling. I wish her well.

On a related note, Jim's great aunt by marriage has advanced
osteoporosis and has been in disabling pain for about nine months.
all along it was assumed that it was the osteoporosis but only recently,
it was determined that she has bone cancer. She just had an
experimental procedure done in Portland where they fixed the cracks in
her spine by pouring a substance into them that strengthened the bone
and eliminated the cracks. She is doing great.

I just learned from Shirley Taylor that long time member, Marlee Naddy
of
Spokane is experiencing some serious health issues. She has
Osteoporosis,
and as a result has had three vertebras break. She is in great pain and
is
requesting that fellow WCB members place her in their prayers. She will
see
a new doctor tomorrow with the hope that some sort of plan for treatment
can
begin her healing process.

I will keep you all posted as I learn more.

Cindy
