It is with great concern in my heart that I share the latest with you on Ron
Fredrickson.

I received a call just moments ago from Bob Mahoney letting me know of Ron's
current medical condition.

Ron is in Intensive Care hanging on to life with the support of medical
technology, his will to live and the prayers of many who care about him.

Last night's surgery did not go as they had hoped.  They almost lost him on
the table and had to close him up before they could do what was needed.  He
has air leaking into his stomach and internal bleeding, the source of which
they were not able to locate.  He desperately needs another surgery to put
in a Colostomy bag and a catheder, but Ron just isn't strong enough for
those procedures right now.

Ron is one of our precious flock.  He, of all people, exemplifies the very
essence of WCB and why we exist.  His passion for our organization is not
only shown in his desire to jump in and participate on committees or other
activities on a state level, but also his involvement in numerous chapters
within WCB.  We're just not ready to let him go yet.

Folks, this is the time to pray and to send your positive thoughts for Ron.
Please remember Bob, Dave and Laura, Ron's house mates during this time as
well.

I will inform you on Ron's condition as I learn it.
