Hi Judy and all,
Kathryn is back in the hospital. She had her left foot amputated last
wednesday so I am really running thing between work hospital and home. I am
not sure when she will get out but I would suspect some time next week.

Hi Judy,
WEll Kathryn is doing okay. She is not a candidate for any kind of
heart surgery at this time. She has 3 out of the 4 major arterries blocked
and there is damage to the back of the heart that pumps the blood. Her
doctor has reffered her to a heart failure clinic at Tacoma General and now
we are waiting approval from the insurance company.
Kathryn is doing better in some ways but they are going to have to
amputate her left foot. It is prone to chronic infections and the risks of
the infections outweigh the surgery.
We are doing fine and I apologize for not calling you all. When I
get home I am cooking so she is getting used to that (grin). I will try to
do a better job keeping you informed. She is scheduled to go in to surgery
on Wednesday and all goes well she should be released on Saturday. If that
is the cse I will miss this next meeting but will be thinking of you all.

Hi, Walt,
Just wanted to know how you guys are doing and if you need anything.
I was supposed to be at convention this weekend but came down with the
flu--wouldn't you know. So, although my body's been here, my mind's been
down in Vancouver.
In the spring, instead of the mini-convention, they are going to host
a parent retreat. I'd love to help out with that one.
Give Catherine my love, (hope I didn't spell her name wrong.)
Call us.
jJudy
