Wow!  This sounds like we don't need a transition committee any more,
nor do the employees of the WTBBL need to worry about becoming state
employees, etc. This letter indicates they want an extension of the
current contract into the future.  I'm impressed.

Well, we do know one thing, both the city and state have committed to
keeping the location where it is.  So, sorry Paul Allen, no sale, ..
unless you want to help foot the bill for an improved library system.

Seattle, Greg Nickels, sent Friday to Sam Reed, the Secretary of State,
in response to the letter Secretary Reed sent in late September to Mayor
