Hello everyone, Once again it's time for me to recruit buddies for this 
year's Braille Carnival.  This fun event will take place on Saturday, 
July 1, at the NFB National Convention in Dallas, TX.  Braille Carnival 
buddies are responsible for taking charge of one blind or sighted child, 
between the ages of 6 and 11, and making sure that child has a great 
time, while staying safe, at the Braille Carnival.  Carnival buddies do 
not have to be Braille readers.
     This year, the Braille Carnival will be set up a little differently. 
Instead of having one large carnival session for a few hours, this year 
we are having two smaller sessions for an hour each.  The first session 
will take place from 1:30-2:30, and the second session will occur from 
2:45-3:45.  Buddies will be assigned a different child for each session. 
If you are interested in volunteering as a carnival buddy, or you would 
like more information, please contact Melissa Riccobono via email at 
maricco at qis.net, or by phone at 410-235-3073. This is an event that is 
tons of fun, but it cannot happen at all without carnival buddies like 
you!
