Subject: Important National Convention Information

Hello Everyone, Convention is less than a month away, and I just wanted 
to take a moment to highlight a few events that would be of interest to 
all of you as you plan your convention schedules. Presidents' gathering: 
On Sunday, July 2 between 11:30-1:30 pm, in the Affiliate Action suite 
(room 2372) there will be an informal gathering for all state 
presidents. You are welcomed to drop by, bring new ideas and get caught 
up with everyone. NFB-LINK training: Our new online mentoring program, 
NFB-LINK, will be launched tomorrow! We have organized training sessions 
at convention to provide information on how the program operates for 
anyone who signed up to be a mentor or for anyone who wishes to become a 
mentor. Please urge everyone to attend one of the training sessions so 
that together, we can truly make this program a success! Spanish 
seminar: Remember that on Sunday between 4:00-7:00 pm there will be a 
seminar completely in Spanish. The seminar will offer information and 
motivation and it will provide an opportunity for participants to 
interact with Hispanic Federationists. Grantwriting: At convention, we 
will offer a seminar dealing with fund raising through grantwriting. I 
want to know if any state affiliate or local chapter has obtained grants 
to fund projects.  If so, email me and let me know as soon as possible. 
Please spread the word about these events to our members. Thanks for
