Subject: Re: [nagdu] dog relief areas
Hello all,
I just spoke to Diane McGeorge who is overseeing the relief areas for this
year's convention.
Diane spoke with Mrs. Jernigan who recommended that NAGDU have two relief
areas complete with lined wooden boxes with cedar chips, and of course,
trash cans.
I know one relief area will be located near the area where our general
sessions will take place. This is in the tower side of the hotel.
There is a sidewalk there which is 10 feet wide and 40-feet long. That is
where some boxes will be located.
The other area will be located closer to attendees who will be in the main
portion of the hotel, as I call it.
I know the hotel told us to use the seven acre park, but there is no way to
adequately staff and clean such a large area.
We ask that dog guide owners use the designated relief areas as much as
possible.
Sincerely,
Liz Campbell
