Hi, Rusty.

Although you were not a member of the email list (some NFB-ers don't
like to be on the list), I let your message thru anyway and I've
subscribed you to the list. So you send posts to

nfbwatlk at nfbnet.org

just like you did for the post below.

Welcome! I'm President of the NFB of Washington and also live in
Vancouver. Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to be at the June
NFBWCC meeting as I'm on the Rehabilitation Advisory Council and it
meets that day in Spokane. But I look forward to meeting you and want to
tell you how glad we are to have you with us. Bob Sellers has no doubt
told you the basics of NFB philosophy and belief; please feel free to
ask questions -- the only dumb questions are those not asked.

Perhaps we can have a chapter get-together this year (we never managed
to organize one last year).

Looking forward to learning about you and reading your thoughts. This
list is sometimes quiet; sometimes it's very lively. Mostly, we concern
ourselves with NFB and blindness in general though by consensus and
dictatorial fiat (mine), mariners baseball, Seahawks football and
Mexican food are ipso facto blindness-related. (grin) I put out list
guidelines once a month but haven't done so for months as my home
computer has been ill. Should get it back shortly.

In any event, welcome!

Mike Freeman, Presaident
NFB of Washington
