[nfbwatlk] Described DVDs

Described movies on DVD are in their infancy as there is no recognized 
standard as to how the DVD menus should be navigated to get to them.

There are a very few commercial DVD's with the DVS track included as one of
the special features in the audio menu.  The ones I can think of off the top
of my heard are:

Munich
Flight 93, or is that called United 93?  Anyway, the movie about United
flight 93 that was in theaters last year.

And the movie how the Grinch Stole Christmas

There are a few more, because the studio that released Munich and Flight 93
have decided to release a number of DVD's with the DVS track, but I can't
remember what they are now.

Whoops, you did ask about DVD's.  Well, I found that there is a WGBH
workgroup that is working out the details to copy all of their movies to
DVD, however, they do not have enough done to produce a full catalog.
I was told that you could call 1-317-579-0439, hours are 8AM-4:30PM
(CST) Monday-Friday.  They would be able to tell you if a movie you were
looking for has made it to DVS-DVD yet.
Also, I was told, that some of the PBS programs (through a collaborative
agreement) are now in DVS as well.
