Subject: Kathryn's memorial service and obituary


Kathryn was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 29, 1943 and passed away 
peacefully Sunday evening, December 24, 2006 in University Place, Washington 
surrounded by family and friends.



Kathryn dedicated her life to her family, education, art and helping with 
special needs, passionately giving many hours tutoring young readers through 
the Werlin Reading Program, collecting donations of art supplies for the 
homeless and supporting the Puyallup Rotary Wheelchair Program. Kathryn was 
also a member in good standing with The Society of Creative Anachronisms 
(SCA).



Kathryn is survived by Walter, her loving husband of 28 years, two children 
Judy and Jerry; and five grandchildren Deborah, Kimberly, Christina, Jaida, 
and Jerry Jr.  She is also survived by her brothers Mike and Joseph; and 
sister, Barbara, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.



Kathryn will be greatly missed by her family and friends.



A Memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2007 
at Tahoma Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 1115 S 56th St, Tacoma, 
Washington.



In lieu of flowers, at Kathryn's request donations may be made to the 
Kathryn L. Cone Memorial Trust at any Bank of America (Acct. 
  ).
