Whoops, you did ask about DVD's.  Well, I found that there is a
WGBH workgroup that is working out the details to copy all of
their movies to DVD, however, they do not have enough done to
produce a full catalog.  
I was told that you could call 1-317-579-0439, hours are
8AM-4:30PM (CST) Monday-Friday.  They would be able to tell you
if a movie you were looking for has made it to DVS-DVD yet.
Also, I was told, that some of the PBS programs (through a
collaborative agreement) are now in DVS as well.
