[nfbwatlk] Audio described movies

Apparently, it is up to the movie studio, or whoever releases the movies on
DVD, to decide if they will include the DVS track as one of the features.
Recently, Universal has been making an effort to start doing this on a few
movies.  Munich was released on DVD with the description as on of the
options.  Inside man, which has recently come out on DVD also has the
description, and United 93 will be released with the description.  

I really like having DVS as an option on a DVD, because you don't have to
listen to that if you don't want to hear it, unlike the video cassettes with
DVS.  I rented both Munich and Inside man from net flix, just because of the
audio description, to support the idea so to speak.

I saw Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in the theater earlier this year.
I was surprised to learn that it was audio described upon getting to the
theater and thoroughly enjoyed the additional description.  When I rented
the movie a week or so ago, however, there was no indication that the movie
included audio description.

I thought that if the movie was audio described while in in the theaters,
the same movie on DVD would include the audio description.

Please enlighten me.
