Hi Daveed,
My office is currently investigating a different County of Alameda department than the Clerk's Office that Lisamaria litigated against. Apparently the county is approaching compliance on a department-by-department basis. I'd be open to talk with you about this by phone and if there are some strategies for county-wide relief. 415.873.9199. Conversations are confidential and covered by attorney client privilege.

Subject: [NFBSF] I want to sue Alameda County
Hello:
I'm trying to find out how to sue Alameda County. I know that Lisamaria sued Alameda County last year over the court failing to assist her to fill out a document. I want to sue a different department. I explained everything to Bobbi. I want to keep this somewhat confidential. This department does not provide accessible documents. Not only is its application inaccessible, but the printed packet associated with that application is completely inaccessible. The application does not mention visual impairment at all. It doesn't mention accessibility, nor does it mention the availability of alternate formats. It is completely in violation of Title II of the ADA. I would like to go ahead with a lawsuit, but I need some guidance. I'm looking for a suggested specific attorney who might be willing to assist with this. If anyone can get back to me, I would appreciate it. I don't have Lisamaria's email. Otherwise, I would have written her directly. Thank you so much.
All the best,
Daveed Mandell
