Hi Sarah,
I'll try and respond to your question regarding grand pianos. As I am sure
you are aware grand pianos come in many different sizes between just short
of 5 ft. and nine ft. plus. Since I do not know what part of the country you
live in its difficult to place an exact price, but they might range in price
from around $5,000.00 to $150,000.00. Sometimes you can find
used/reconditioned grand pianos for less than new cost. Rather than shop by
brand (Steinway, Yamaha, Kawai etc.,) I usually recommend that the customer
shop around looking at cost--what can you afford; size--will it fit into
your living room; cabinet style--will the color/cabinet design be compatible
with the decor of the room where the piano will be.

Hello. I would like to know the price range for a grand piano for home
use. Is one brand recommended over another? Thank you.
Sarah
