hello once again!
i hav 2 questions for the list. the first is, is there anyone on list who went to or knows a blind person who went to the north benit street school in boston? its my understanding that they hav had three or fore v i folks through there in the last 10-15 years. i'm just trying to find one to discuss there experiences with the school. plans are beeing made for me to inter the school next year. i hav a pritty good life here in cincinnati with a dog, a cat, quite a bit of work in my recording studio, a wife and a baby on the way. so it is a big deal for me to pull up stakes and move to boston. i'm willing to do that but i want to make sure that they will wrealy teach me things i need to know.
my second question, is are any of you, or do any of you know a person who works fore a colledge or consirvitory of music who is blind? this is the job i would like to hav after finishing school. i understand that working for yourself in the piano bisnuss is probably more profitable but the person who i aprinticed with here works at a small colledge of about 15000 students. he is on the books as a part time employ works as needed and gets a hefty 35000 a year for his efforts. oh, and did i michin its a state colledge so he gets the best benafits one could ever hope fore! with all of this, he alsoe has a bote lode of clients on the side. i understand its all about building a reputation and working hard and doing good work. but anyhow this is the kind of gig i'm intristed in and was just wondering if anyone who's blind is or has dun it?
