Hello, there!

We are data visualization researchers at Boston College. We are currently studying how charts and graphs can be made more accessible for blind and low-vision users. For this, we are looking for people that meet the following requirements:

*	blind or low-vision
*	screen reader user
*	in the USA
*	at least 18 years or older

If this is you, please take part in our study! Your participation will help develop and improve different strategies to guide the exploration of charts.

The study will take approximately 90 minutes.

The study will be conducted online via a remote zoom call. We will compensate you with up to $50 in Amazon gift cards for your participation.

To take part, send an email with the subject “Study sign up” to joynersh at bc.edu <mailto:joynersh at bc.edu> .

If you have any questions, please contact joynersh at bc.edu <mailto:joynersh at bc.edu> (Shakila Cherise Joyner, Research Associate)

Thank you!

My JAWS also read it in a non-english language.

Hi Dave,

While JAWS was reading the below post correctly, VoiceOver was reading it in German—very bizarre! Also, the researcher had an incorrect email address in the announcement. I have corrected everything, and will be resending later today for reposting. Thanks!

Lou Ann
