[Nfbnet-members-list] Bling and low-vision women aged 18 - 45 needed for body image study

The below research participant solicitation is being provided for informational purposes only. The National Federation of the Blind has no involvement in this research.

An online research study that aims to advance our knowledge on body image among blind women is seeking women between the ages of 18 to 45 who are congenitally blind or were blinded before the age of 7 years old. Individuals must be 1) unable to see themselves in the mirror, 2) unable to recognize other people's faces, and 3) unable to use visual-based media to be considered eligible. The study will involve an online auditory computer game followed by a series of questionnaires regarding body image and should take no longer than 30-40 minutes. Individuals would be compensated with $10 Amazon.com gift cards.
