The below research participant solicitation is being provided for informational purposes only. The National Federation of the Blind has no involvement in this research, but we believe that it may contribute to our research mission.

Interested in guiding the future of online videos to better meet your needs? You can help with a Johns Hopkins University research study to better understand how people learn from animated videos and audio description. We are recruiting people with low vision as well as functional vision to help with a 10-minute survey. The survey includes watching a short animation, answering survey questions, and providing feedback on the video. The survey is entirely online and can be done on your computer, tablet or phone.

If you are interested to help us, the survey is open to adults (18 years old and above) living in the United States. You are also welcome to share this survey with others who might be interested, especially if they have low vision. We will collect responses until January 24, 2022.
