The below research participant solicitation is being provided for informational purposes only. The National Federation of the Blind has no involvement in this research, but we believe that it may contribute to our research mission.

Hi all!

We are asking blind and low-vision adults to participate in a research project entitled "Socioeconomic Disparities in Adaptive Sports." The purpose of this study is to determine if barriers to adaptive sports participation disproportionately affect people based on socioeconomic factors. You are being asked to complete an anonymous questionnaire about your disability, socioeconomic factors, and your opinions regarding adaptive sports participation. The survey should take approximately 5 minutes.

Please follow this link to our survey:

There are no risks to participating in this study. Only researchers who are involved in this study, members of the Medical College of Wisconsin Institutional Review Board (IRB), and auditors from regulatory agencies will have access to these questions.

The information that is obtained from this study may be useful and may possibly be helpful to others. There will be no direct benefits or compensation to you.

This is 100% voluntary and you do not have to participate in this study. You can withdraw from this study at any time for any reason without penalty.
