I am pleased to be able to announce three new
lists here on nfbnet.org. They are all
associated with the NFB of South
Carolina: NFBOFSC the official and main NFB of
South Carolina list, Pal Vis is Palmetto Vision
for parents and teachers of blind kids, and
PalBlind, Palmetto Blind for the posting of the
affiliate newsletter. Below is more info and how to subscribe to each.

NFBOFSC, official NFB of South Carolina Mailing List

This group offers a forum for NFB of SC members
and others to discuss matters of importance to
the blind of South Carolina. Free and open
discussion of any issue related to blindness is
welcome. However, any criticism of NFB of SC or
its leadership and policies should be
constructive. Personal attacks on any list member
or attacks against the NFB of SC, or its
policies, leaders, or members will not be tolerated.

To join the list, either go to:

or send e-mail to nfbofsc-request at nfbnet.org and
put the word subscribe in the subject line.

PalVis: Palmetto Vision

The Palmetto Vision group is intended for parents
and teachers of blind students, but anyone
interested in the education of our blind children
is welcome. Appropriate topics include anything
related to the education of blind children —
questions and suggestions about teaching
techniques, IEP's, ways of insuring that your
child gets the most of the educational system,
announcements about developments in educational
technology and programs, just to suggest a few.

To join PalVis either go to:

or send e-mail to palvis-request at nfbnet.org and
put the word subscribe on the subject line by itself.

PalBlind: Palmetto Blind

Get the Palmetto Blind delivered straight to your
inbox each quarter. This is an announce only
group, so the only thing you will receive is the
Palmetto Blind when it is released.

The PALMETTO BLIND is the voice of the National
Federation of the Blind of South Carolina.

To join this list either go to:

or send e-mail to palblind-request at nfbnet.org and
put the word subscribe on the subject line by itself.
