Greetings,
 
We are just back from an awesome Yotuh Leadership Seminar at the National Center.  Myself and four of our youth spent this past weekend in Baltimore, MArlyland
 
Okay here are the summer events for the Youth outreacch program.  ALl of these events are to some degree a part of Lansing Parks and Recreation. 
 
 
JUne 7th @ 8:30 at Potter Park Zoo in Lansing the Mayor's RiverWalk witll begin.  WE are going to walk as a group with Tshirts on.  We are also working on getting whozit to make an apperance.  After the walk join us for a picnic, location to be determined.    c0st, FREE.  This is a family event
 
July 13th a walk thru Fenner Nature Center in Lansing.   This event will begin at 2.  we will walk the trails as a group.  We will also have a picnic together.  FREE, this is another family event
 
August 29th- Sept 1st MICHIGAN BRIDGE WALK ,the youth outreach program will walk the bridge . It is a five mile walk.  We are trying to gain awareness for our program.  This is a fun event.  We also plan to visist local attractions that weekend such as Mackinaw Island, Dummand Island, eat fudge, and mush more.
 
Remember OCTOBER 10-12 this is going to be an AWESOME event.  I am in the process of booking an up and coming HOT R%B group.  I met them this weekend, i tell you they are SWEEET. 
 
Okay, i fyou are interested in joining us for an; of these events please let me know.  If you aren't from MI and want to come let me know ASAP , we'll work something out.
