I don't know if anyone here knew this person, but I thought I'd pass it on
in case anyone did. I did not know her as far as I can remember.

Just before I saw the below posting from Joe, I spoke to Anil Lewis and he
confirmed that it was our own Mary Ann Parks. She was an incredibly vibrant
person who was highly committed to the federation and our student division.
She will be greatly missed.

It's part of life, but it does not have to make sense. I had just spoken to
her Thursday. She was chastizing me about not getting on top of the
goalball plans as promised and giving me a hard time about not returning
calls on time in general. If she gave the goalball planning team even half
the dedication she gave the Georgia affiliate, the Georgia affiliate will
surely miss such an important asset. She spoke her mind, always gave it to
you straight, always had the ability to make you laugh about your own, or my
own, stupidity. We will all miss a great friend.
