 The application deadline - August 19th - is approaching quickly, but young
people with disabilities are being encouraged to apply for a NASA "MUST"
Scholarship. See details below.   Kevin 
   NASA's Motivating Undergraduates in Science & Technology (MUST) Program
offers $1.75 million in scholarships, internships and academic support.
MUST Program Recipients will be awarded half of tuition costs (not exceeding
$10,000) and will include a mentorship program, academic support system and
other resources and networks from the Hispanic College Fund (HCF), Society
of Hispanic Engineers (SHPE) and the United Negro College Fund Special
Programs (UNCFSP).    Plus, MUST Scholars will receive a $5,000 stipend for
a summer internship at a NASA facility!   To apply you must hurry! The final
deadline is August 19, 2006 - the MUST application is entirely online. You
will be required to submit an essay, a letter of recommendation, and resume
online plus you will have to mail a transcript and proof of citizenship to
HCF offices, so finish your application early!   Am I eligible? To  be
eligible for the MUST scholarship you must be . pursuing a degree in
science, engineering, technology, or mathematics . be a U.S. citizen from an
underepresented group ( Women, African-American, Hispanic, Native American,
Pacific Islander, persons with disabilities).  . be studying at an
accredited university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the 2006-2007 academic
year  . be a rising freshman, sophomore, junior or transfer student
attending or enrolling in an accredited U.S. higher education institution as
a full-time student  . have earned and maintained  a cumulative Grade Point
Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale   How do I apply? Just go to
