Just an FYI that the deadline for financial assistance from NFB of Kentucky
is right around the corner on August 15.  If you are planning to attend the
NFBK state convention I urge you to apply for assistance now, because any
amount of assistance can help fund your trip to Lexington. If there is
anything I can do to assist anyone with this process please let me know.

Secondly, as we've previously mentioned, KABS will have our student seminar
on Friday September 8 from 6-8.  Registration will start at 5:30 and the
cost is $2.  The $2 registration does include dinner for students, but you
absolutely have to RSVP to Jayne Seif (jaynep20 at insightbb.com) by September
1 so we know how many dinners to order.  

Lastly, I have gathered all the necessary materials for KABS to do a mass
mailing of our seminar flyer.  I would like to know if a group of us can get
together in the very near future to put it all together.  I would like to
propose that those of us who live in Louisville meet at the library this
weekend.  Are there times/days that work better for any of you?  Please let
me know ASAP.
