I, too, had the privilege to conversate with Glen at last year’s Convention while co-hosting in the hospitality suite.  He spoke about a new business venture he was very excited about.  I also will never forget his voice yelling out “GLEN” at the dollar auction.  

 

May God comfort and strengthen Kay and the Baker family for such a time as this.

I was so sorry to hear of Glen's passing. I remember talking with him in the restaurant late one afternoon at the South Bank at the 2022 state  convention. I had seen him with you, but never had a conversation till then. May you, your family, and friends who knew him best, find comfort and strength in the memories you have because he was here and made a difference.

I write to you tonight with a heavy heart.  Yesterday, August 22,2024 at 3:39 PM, our friend and loved one Glenn Baker passed away surrounded by family and loved ones.

 

Glen was a long time federationists.  He joined our organization with the Arkansas Affiliate and  moved to Florida where he and his wife Kaye Zimpher Baker were deeply involved in the Jacksonville Chapter.  Kaye is currently the affiliate secretary and president of the  greater Jacksonville chapter.  Glen  contributed to our organization for many years and he will be greatly missed.

 

The Florida board of directors, members, family, and friends extend our deepest condolences to kay and her family on their lost.  Information on Glen’s services will be circulated when they become available.

 

Please  keep Kaye and her loved ones in your thoughts and prayers as  they navigate through  these challenging times.
