Amigos, los Saludo:

El mes de mayo está aquí. Mayo es el mes del impulso.

Durante nuestra campaña pasada del fondo de la imaginación recolectamos más
de 80.000 dólares durante el mes de mayo. Sé que algunos de nosotros hemos
estado postergando el hacer un último esfuerzo enérgico de recolecta de
fondos. Ahora es tiempo. La marcha para la independencia, Una caminata por
la oportunidad estará aquí más pronto de lo que usted piensa. Ahora es época
de comprometerse.

He oído noticias de muchos de nuestros amigos en los pasados últimos días, y
de colegas quienes tienen la fiebre, y están estableciendo el impulso,
recolectando los dólares mientras que nos acercamos al 2 de julio. Hay tanto
de que sentirse orgulloso y agradecido en la Federación Nacional de Ciegos.
Yo siempre recuerdo que el fondo de la imaginación es una manera en que nos
podemos acercar y transmitir ese gran orgullo a amigos y familia. Es quizás
nuestro mejor vehículo para ganar su comprensión y contribuciones de apollo.
La gente patrocinará su entrada en la marcha de la Independencia por la
caminata para la oportunidad, si usted pide.

Ojalá que este mes todos alentemos a nuestra sucursal, afiliada, y miembros
de la división para acaparar el impulso, hacer los pedidos, poner el perfil
al día en su página personal, y lanzarse alto.

Aliente a la gente en las reuniones de su sucursal para que se matriculen
este mes en la marcha, si ya no lo han hecho, para alcanzar los 250 dólares
de patrocinios de la marcha.

Sobrepasemos la marca que fijamos el año pasado en mayo.

Usted quizás todavía no ha alcansado su meta de 250 dólares para marchar con
nosotros en la marcha para la independencia, en Dallas, Tejas, el 2  de
julio del 2008. Este acontecimiento promete ser más grande y mejor que el
del año pasado, pero solamente si cada uno alcansa sus metas. Es hora, pare
de demorar, haga el pedido, personalice sus páginas cibernéticas, y envíe
sus Correspondencias electrónicas. ¡Escriba sus cartas y termine! Recuerde,
250 dólares consigue dejarlo comenzar a entrar a través de la línea con su
camiseta del 2008. 500 dólares nuestro muy atractivo sombrero de la
Federación, bordado con Braille. Y 1000 dólares el importante medallón anual
de colección. La ceremonia del medallón será llevada a cabo en frente de la
prestigiosa línea aérea American Airlines Center, en el lugar de alta
tecnología del parque Victory Park "megacomplejo comercial" que es un lugar
de reunión al aire libre. Imagínese el ponerse el medallón conmemorativo de
este año junto con el Doctor Maurer y otros líderes de la federación.
