	hello Mike.  I'm not really an expert in WCAG either, but I'm guessing it was an easy way
to expose the functions of the buttons without having to think about what to write in the alt
tag.  In that way, it could be done completely mechanically without human thought.
I've certainly encoutnered web pages where the spoken labels are hidden function names or the
contents of the submission content.  You're right, it's a bit disconcerting, but as a geek, I
appreciate the insights it gives me into how things work under the hood.
