Jim,

I hope you have also seen the two additional options, one using OneDrive and another using TEAMS and OneDrive.  I hope others will respond with reasons they have found these options not to work.

It should also be noted that Google Docs has become easier to use now with screen readers, but one has to take the time to learn how to do things a little differently.  I have a feeling that if those with whom you are working categorically reject Google Docs, they will probably reject OneDrive.

Good Morning Everyone,

Thank you all for your responses to my question about collaborating over MS documents.

Your responses broke down into 3 answers..

1) Use Google Docs for this
2) Save the doc to OneDrive and then share a link.
3) Use Dropbox, but this comes with no merging support

I have two questions :)

1. Do I understand correctly that Dropbox isn't really supporting collaboration? I can share the document that way, but there's no way for multiple people to work on the document at once?  Basically, the last person to save the document wins?

2. There seems to be a fair amount of support for using Google Docs.  I find this interesting because my blind teammates unanimously say that Google drive is absolutely not usable for screen reader users. I too find that I have to use my vision when using it. Are you guys able to use Google drive with a screen reader only?  Or, do you just keep links to google docs and go straight to them, avoid the google drive interface?
