Congratulations you have finally ran into the orbit/jaws bug. I’ve been running into this since windows 11 I think that you cannot have the braille for narrator and the braille for jaws installed at the same time that said I removed the braille for narrator and it still had the problem Orbit wants to connect using something called the bomb display. I’m not really sure why so would you have to do is install braille for narrator turn on braille and switch to something that just says USB 10 I cannot get orbit to connect using Bluetooth with the computer. Good luck and keep in mind that anytime your windows 11 updates you’ll have to go through the same ridiculous charade Next time I’m experiencing the same problems you are

Jaws and NVDA have been auto connecting to the focus 40 65th gen every time.

Just this orbit .

Uninstalled and repaired jaws no help.

Driver is 64bit and comes from orbit downloads. I even reinstalled it and issued a repair.

Have you tried telling Jaws or NVDA to automatically connect by USB? Don’t know if that will help, but it might. I have had trouble with other orbit products connecting, and staying connected via Bluetooth.

Hello Louis:

What model of the Orbit Reader do you have: 20, 20+, or 40?

Each model has its own unique support page and documentation.

Cordially,

I just received my Orbit yesterday and for some reason cannot get it to connect to my computer. I see the mass storage and I get the tone when connecting.

Tried NVDA & Jaws, no luck.

I downloaded the Orbit 64bit it was dated

1/24/2022

I will see if there is a more recent.

Really frustrated..

Both Jaws and NVDA are up to date.
