Dear fellow Federationists:

This message is directed to East Valley members, and in particular,
Mesa residents.

The Mesa City Council is considering eliminating both Saturday
Dial-a-ride as well as Saturday bus service. We all know what an
impact this will have on our quality of life in Mesa.

I am requesting that all Mesa residents call the Mesa City Council
and express your concerns. Remember to be clear and concise with your
phone call.

I am also requesting that Federationists ask their friends and family
members living in Mesa to do the same. Remember, this will not only
impact Dial-a-ride users but also impact bus users.

Please call the automated Mesa City Council number at: 480-644-3000
and leave your message. You may call this number at any time
throughout the day and it will send your message to all Council
members at one time.

I know that you will take care of this as soon as you receive this
message; however, please make your phone call before April 34d. We
must let the Mesa City Council know how this cut will impact our
lives in a timely manner in order to influence any decision making.
Remember, the Council moves very fast with their decisions, so, let
us get a jump-start on this one.

Thank you very much.

Mark Feliz, National Federation of the Blind of Arizona East Valley President
