[Nfb-web] Affiliate and Division Templates

Hello Brandon and listers,

I also submitted questions regarding the release of affiliate and
division templates so we can begin migrating Web sites in to X Catalyst. As
I recall from the Webmasters Seminar last month the affiliate templates were
to be made available about two weeks following the seminar. Here it is
almost a month later and guess what? No templates.

Likewise I have asked questions concerning the creation and release of
division templates. The National Association of Guide Dog Users, (NAGDU)
would like to migrate its site in to X Catalyst, but our hands are tied
until we find out if a template will be created for us, if we should create
our own template, or if we should use the standard template for pages on the
national site. Answers to these questions would be very much appreciated so
we can begin giving the NAGDU Web Site its Extreme Make-Over. I have two
other individuals ready to begin work on the NAGDU Site, but need to know
something about the template.
Our goal was to have a new look and feel to the NAGDU Site in time for the
2008 National Convention. Perhaps we're better off just to have a
stand-alone Web site for the time being. Sorry if I sound a little
frustrated. I appreciate the fact that Gary and John have other things on
their plates too. What troubles me is that we've been told that the
affiliate templates would be available by a particular time frame. That
time-frame comes and goes and no templates are made available. A status
report on this and information concerning the availability of division
templates would be very much appreciated. All the best for a great Easter.

I have left messages for Gary and John; I know you all are probably busy;
however, the Arizona technology committee would like to start utilizing the
x-catylyst software asap.
Is it possible to create extra user accounts for training purposes?
As of the last time I had logged in, that was not possible; will that option
be added?
Does anyone have any information?

Thank You,
Brandon McGinty

Hi All,
I have the same problem myself. At my last login the other day, there were
still no state affiliate templates except for Nebraska. I believe that one
was there at our seminar already. Since the NFB of Illinois' board
unanimously voted to transfer our site to xCatalyst, we in NFBI really need
that state affiliate template ASAP.
Any updates would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Ruth Anne

Gary,

Since the seminar in February I haven't heard anything about the next steps
to take to bring up our web sites in our affiliates. I have emailed John
and have got no response. What is your take of what it going on?
