[Nfb-web] NFBIL Web Site Pilot

Joe:

It may surprise you but I agree with you. To my way of thinking, NFB's
site ought to be maintained for *blind* persons; it doesn't bother me at
all that sighted persons might find it cluttered -- they clutter up
enough of *their* sites for me; turnabout is fair play! <smirk> I
preferred the old NFB site far better. However, judicious use of the
search function helps some.

I prefer top heavy up front with good headers and other dividers to
organize
the information. The site index should only be used to find
excruciatingly
specific points, not general items that could previously be found with
little fuss in the old version, but, these are merely my personal
thoughts
and not at all reflective of the user pool. So far as I know, I have
been
the only one to complain about the new national web site, so perhaps
that is
saying something more of the user than the site. I think the Illinois
web
site is a good web site, having just checked it out.--Joe Orozco
