Good afternoon everyone,
I recently created a PayPal Account for an affiliate of the National
Federation of the Blind so they can except donations via their Web Site.
Something went wrong during the account creation process, but I'm not sure
what. When potential donors access the donations pages and submit their
contribution instead of seeing the organizations name they see the account
contact person's email address instead. I've been working on this problem
for several weeks to correct this information, but feel I'm getting
absolutely no where! I've looked all over the account profile for this
PayPal account for an area which would allow me to customize the donations
pages so the email address can be removed and the organization's name appear
instead. That's all I'm trying to do! Knowing where to go and what to change
has been like looking for a needle in a haystack. Our patience are growing
thin. We want to fix this problem and get on with developing other parts of
their Web site and so when I create PayPal accounts for other affiliates
I'll know what to do, and what not to do to prevent this from happening
again. If someone can assist us with fixing this problem I'll appreciate
that very much as these folks will too. I've visited the PayPal donations
links of several other state NFB Affiliates and do not see anyone's email
address showing on those pages. The affiliate name is displayed instead.
That's what we need to change so how do I do it?
I attempted to file a help ticket with PayPal concerning this problem
and was taken to a screen prompting me to create a new account. Contacting
PayPal's tech support got me recorded messages telling me nothing about how
to fix this problem. Anyone's assistance with this would be very much
appreciated.
