Hello Bryan and listers,
This sounds like a scam to me. I would just as soon tell the marketer to
take a hike rather than be locked in to their scam. Here's hoping your
friend can find a more reputable outfit to deal with.

Subject: [Nfb-web] stores online
hi all,
Is anyone familiar with being invited to a marketing seminar and being
talked into paying $500 or $1,00 basically for access to stores online
pro.com templates and marketing strategy information?
I'm trying to assist someone who got suckered into this program and then
still had to pay register.com for a domain name, and is locked into paying
$25 per month to publish/modify the chosen template and host the site.
I believe the project can be completed much more cheaply by using other
providers but the client is scared of losing access to the stores online
pro.com features like:
keyword analysis, reverse keyword search, web site traffic stats, etc.
thanks,
Bryan
