There is a great ftp client, open source called winscp. I think you can find it on sourceforge.
Also if you use internet explorer and have the name and password to log into the ftp you can go to 'ftp://ftp.yoursitename' You will get an error saying
you can't access it. say okay. Then go to the menu bar under file and there should be a choice called login. Once you log in, you will have a list of
all your files and directories at that level. You can highlight the directory you want to go in by typing the first letter of the directory. For example:
w for www. Once you have it open you can just highlight the file you want rid of by typing the first letter of it, and deliete it or you can paste what
ever you like into the directory from your clipboard. I've pasted entire directories up that way. To go back you just backspace. Hope this helps.
