[Nfb-web] Agenda for Atlanta

How about just setting up a website that teaches the basics (and advance
concepts) of designing and operating a website. But if the truth be told,
there are already such tutorial websites on the internet already.

Hello J.J. and listers,

    As a follow-on to your comments I'd suggest that a day-long Webmastering
seminar be planned for future national conventions as this is a huge subject
and requires lots of ground to be covered.

Based on this list and questions I've received, there seems to be a lot of
need for information for webmaster basics, that is, the absolute basics for
creating a website and simple ways to accomplish this. This could range from
basic HTML to webpage creators. Also of note are added content features like
blogs, calendars, and NFBNet lists like these.

Unfortunately, if the schedule remains the same, I will not be able to
attend this year because of the students seminar, but I wish you all the
best for a great program.

Very soon I need to submit some copy to the Braille Monitor about our
meeting in July. If any of you have suggestions for things you would like
to see on the agenda, I would like to start putting those in place and
include them in the advertisement of our meeting. I can, of course, run the
general information which is appeared there for the last two years, but I
think we can do better.

I welcome your suggestions for this year's meeting and thank you in advance
for them.
