Hello Bryan and listers,
I find I can do this by hitting alt+down arrow to open the list box. This
control is called a jump box and can be a little tricky for those of us with
screen readers. If you do as I suggested above you can then arrow through
the list to make your selection. Be aware that once you tab to the next
control the jump box will be activated and you will be taken to the page you
selected in the list of choices displayed.

Subject: [Nfb-web] web combo boxes
Hi all,
Using jaws 7.x, xp pro, and explorer 6,
does someone know how to delay the page refresh reaction when you move to
another item in the combo list?
i.e. the word in the list says 'select manufacturer' and you hit down arrow
or a letter and say the page delivers results for compaq but you wanted
crucial.
thanks,
Bryan
