[Nfb-web] Creating Blogs and Podcast Feeds

Hello Ruth Ann and listers,

Might I also suggest checking out the 2006 NFB of Tennessee State Convention
page to see how we set it up to aid folks in listening to the archives. The
URL is:
http://www.nfb-tennessee.org/conventions/nfbtn2006.php

Note that the agenda for each convention session is listed with speaker
information and Web Sites of interest prior to the audio stream and download
links for each session. With this past convention we created a single file
for each session, but if I'm asked to create separate files for agenda items
I'll do it and will post them after the information for each item in the
agenda. For example Joe Shaw demonstrated Newsline during the Saturday
Morning Session. This item is included in the file for that session, but if
I'm asked to include a separate file containing the Newsline portion of that
session I would do that and place the links for it directly after the
information for that presentation. I hope that makes sense. I'd recommend
doing that for the NFBI convention audio page from now on so folks can
preview the agenda for each convention session prior to launching the stream
or downloading the .MP3 file.

Hi Peter,
Glad it was of help!
I forgot to include the page on the NFBI site that has the convention
audio and podcast links as well. That is:
http://www.nfbofillinois.org/convention2005.htm
Byron Lee did our sound recording last year.
As long as someone (Byron or Steve are our most likely people)
records our convention in November, and the MP3 files are workable,
we would be doing the same thing again for this year and following years.
Have a great weekend!
