Fellow Federationists:
We are doing a great job at gaining cosigners to Congressman Towns' "Dear
Colleague" letter, and Congressman Towns' office is now going to hold the
letter open through next Friday, March 14. At this time thirty-one members
of the House of Representatives have signed on to support full funding of
the Talking Books program. I have listed the cosigners below this message.
If your representative wants to join the "Dear Colleague" letter they can
contact Dana Grayson in Congressman Towns' office, or Jerry White in
Congressman Bilirakis' office. We must work hard next week to add as many
members of the House to this list. You can be connected to the Capitol
switchboard by calling (202) 225-3121. Please feel free to contact me with
any questions. Thank you again for your hard work on this important matter.
Sincerely,
Jesse Hartle
