Ryan:
You seem to be making some assumptions here -- assumptions I don't
think are true. First, you seem to think that Humanware can control,
or at least effect what ABC does on Extreme Home Makeover. I say
this isn't true. They provide product and information, but it is up
to the producers of the show what they say and do. They could just
buy humanware products and not deal with them at all. Humanware
takes part for the publicity, and I am sure they hope they can do
something positive and look good.
You secondly seem to think we are bad because we take money from
Humanware because they have done something bad. Neither of these
things have happened. Humanware doesn't control Extreme Home
Makeover, and we can't make them do anything differently that would
change the program, because they can't.
If we were being bought off I would be concerned, but we aren't.
We could object to the program to ABC, but doing so with Humanware
would accomplish exactly nothing.
