I don't know the max, but I think Dave's right that it's probably 16 or
24.  16x magnification is basically useless to work with (I'd know.)  I'd
say that Braille is infinitely preferable to speech, large print or not.
Not sure what advantage anything more than 4x magnification is going to b
to you now or in the future.
