My oh my!!!! Paul Lorensen was my cane travel instructor while I was a
student at the Louisiana Center For The Blind:
www.lcb-ruston.com

This was from July 1987 to March 1988. He and I quickly became fast
friends; and, he played a huge role in helping me gain the full confidence I
needed; not, mind you, just in my cane travel instruction, but also, in life
in general. How I will miss him. His honesty was a characteristic I much
admired in him. We both shared a great love of Pink Floyd and would often
speak of an album which at that time was a joint favorite of ours; "Dark
Side of The Moon". It remains a favorite of mine to this very day. I got
that album for my Birthday on Cassette; and, when I was at the center, I
bought it on CD for the first time; the excitement of the at that time still
fairly new medium Still resonating with me and my friends. Every time I
play that CD from this point onward Paul, you will be in my thoughts and
prayers. Paul was a man who deeply loved life and loved to share it
willingly with all he knew. He was the kind of man who never met a
stranger. He was a friend to everyone he met. How I will so deeply miss
you Paul. My friend, may your soul rest in eternal peace.

Sincerely yours,
The Constantly Barefooted,
Ray
