I have used the selective doctor and he is quite reasonable and his work is
good. Just as an aside, if you arre curious, ask him how he came to be
called the selective doctor -- something to do with an old IBM typewriter
that no one else repairs any longer -- a selectrix I think. He does nothing
but fix old and out-dated stuff and does a lot of braillers.
I had my old Perkins fixed by him which needed several things repaired and
the total cost was only $50. But that was 10 years ago.
That old Perkins is a real work horse--I think it will last forever.
