[nfb-talk] How to get Chapter members interested in nfb literature

David, I'm not sure if the nfb lit topic was put in this list or not, but I
have an answer for Tina:

There is nothing wrong with going digital.  I feel, and agree that Kernel
Books are a great resource.  But I do not agree that affiliate chapters
need to be spending meeting space discussing nfb literature.  Here is what
_I would do:

Encourage members to go to Chapter-sponsored symposia, discussing nfb
literature at random.  Do not give out prizes for "highest number of Kernel
Books read" unless students are high-school age or younger.  Instead, at
your Chapter Symposium, encourage members to read "positive" books on the
subject of blindness.  

Talk to Napub leaders in your state, and encourage an adult "braille
readers are leaders" contest, and give away prizes for the highest
number(s) of book(s) read, followed by the pages.
