[nfb-talk] A few of my own observations

Hi Joseph and list,

It may surprise many of us how the NFB and ACB have worked together behind the scenes. I still maintain there was an element of surprise to the ACB that a judge would rule in their favor! I don't feel they expected this to happen really! Now that it has, they don't know what to do! They don't even have a plan in place as to how the money should be made more accessible! When I was on their list, I said they needed to put a committee in place for putting together a proposal for making the currency more accessible! I doubt they have done this! If they have, it would be a surprise to many of us!

I would agree that there are a number of fine persons within the ACB with whom I have dealt with on the internet! It would be nice if bygones could be bygones and the two organizations could work closer together! Yes! There are many pressing issues out there for all of us to be concerned about but who really brought the quiet car issue to the forefront? I can tell you who it wasn't! Yes! It was the NFB! I do agree no organization is perfect but I'd be willing to bet that if something is going to be done, the NFB will be right out in front working for a solution for a good many things.

Jim
