Welcome Adrijana;
Why did you say you can not join the NFB. Are there not any chapters in
your country. If not, you are welcome to be a member by way of the
list and learn about the NFB. There is a lot to read about the NFB on
our site;
http://www.nfb.org
Who knows, you might be able to start a chapter some day.
Try to save up and hopefully in the next year or two, you can come to
our national convention. In July of 08, we are meeting in Dalis Texas,
in the US.
I am a Grants Clerk for the National Institute of Health in Maryland. I
do phones, xerox and many other jobs that a busy secretary does not have
time to do.
Write and tell us a little bit more about yourself.
If you are interested in crafts, we are just getting a craft group
going. We have a computer group, groups for different accessable
devices and much, much more.
David Andrews, our moderator, can get you access to the list of groups.
Welcome.

M-power user, Jaws user and crafter

Subject: [nfb-talk] Hello from a new member
Hi to all members on this list,
I am new here, so I thought to write and introduce myself. My name is
Adrijana and I am a 28-year old lady from Macedonia. I am also blind
and work in a school for blind children. I teach English to students
ages 10 to 17 there and really enjoy my work.
Although I am not able to become an NFB member at present, I thought to
join this list and share ideas and experiences with members here. I am
also into corresponding and making new friends, so if you would like to
write to me, my email address is adrijana.prokopenko at gmail.com and my
aim screen name is
adrijana1979
Hope to hear from you soon,
Adrijana
